Dr. Golas is a scientific professional with over a decade of experience driving results in the biotechnology industry, spanning academic research, translational science, and commercial strategy. He has led cross-functional teams and projects in virology, immunology, and oncology, with a particular specialization in precision medicine and vaccine development.
His contributions include 3 first-author publications, the development of novel tools supporting drug discovery, and critical contributions and scientific leadership that helped his team to secure a $6M contract. Beyond the lab, Dr. Golas brings a strong business mindset, with hands-on experience in market research, product development, and commercialization gained through OHSU’s Biomedical Innovation Program.
He is actively pursuing roles in Product Management, Scientific Analysis, and Business Development, as well as Senior Scientist positions, and is highly motivated to connect with career opportunities in Oregon and the wider West Coast.
