The Forth Cohort of our Oregon Bio Women’s Mentorship Program is Underway!

Thank you for your interest in the Oregon Bio Women (OBW) Mentorship Program. The current (fourth) cohort is now underway. Please check back in June 2026 for information on participating in the next session.

Program Mission

The mission of the Oregon Bio Women Mentorship Program is to accelerate the professional development and growth of women across Oregon’s life sciences community.

Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned professional, this program creates space for meaningful connections, shared learning, and professional growth.

Become an OBW Mentor

Show your active support for women working in Oregon’s life sciences sector by volunteering as a mentor. A modest time commitment can have a lasting impact.

Program Highlights & Expectations
  • Meet with your mentee for a minimum of one hour per month for 8–9 months (remote or in person)

  • Maintain communication between meetings as needed

  • Engage with the OBW support team for guidance

Eligibility Requirements
  • People identifying as women

  • Employed in bioscience

  • Current Oregon Life Sciences member*

  • Relevant expertise aligned with mentee needs

Why Join as a Mentee?

The OBW Mentorship Program provides mentees with dedicated, independent mentorship tailored to individual professional goals. Mentors support mentees’ educational and career aspirations based on what matters most to them.

Program Highlights & Expectations
  • Meet with your mentor for a minimum of one hour per month for six months

  • Meetings may be remote or in person

  • Maintain regular communication between meetings

  • OBW staff support the mentorship experience
