President & Chief Executive Officer

Oregon Life Sciences (OLS) is conducting a search for its next President & Chief Executive Officer. OLS is the leading voice for Oregon’s life sciences industry, representing a statewide network of companies, research institutions, and partners spanning medical devices, therapeutics, diagnostics, digital health, and advanced manufacturing.

Reporting to the OLS Board of Directors, the President & CEO will set and execute the organization’s strategic vision, serve as its primary external representative, and lead the next phase of growth and impact.

Key responsibilities include leading membership engagement and value delivery, advancing partnerships and external relations, overseeing revenue strategy and financial performance, championing workforce development initiatives, and working closely with the Board on governance.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including demonstrated success at the executive level in organizational growth, partnership development, and financial management. A background in life sciences, healthcare, or a related sector is preferred, along with experience with membership-based or nonprofit organizations.

This is a highly visible, mission-driven leadership opportunity for a strategic executive who is passionate about strengthening Oregon’s position as a hub for life sciences innovation. Candidates must be Oregon-based or willing to relocate, with up to 20% travel expected.
