Professional Bio
Tina Guldberg currently serves as the assistant vice president for economic development and strategic relations. Her work strengthens the UO’s role as a key player in Oregon’s economy by building strategic partnerships with the private and public sector, fostering collaboration, and developing long-term strategies for growth. She works closely with industry, academic institutions, and government agencies to drive workforce development, innovation, and research, contributing to the state’s economic growth. She brings experience from Ford Motor Company as a product development engineer, a research engineer in the Sustainable Design and Manufacturing program at Georgia Tech, and as the associate director of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute where she spent 15 years developing strategic partnerships for the Institute. She is also graduate from the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering and currently serves on the executive committee & board of directors for Oregon Bioscience Association and as a board member of the Sacred Heart Peace Health Foundation.
