Oregon Bio Rebrands as Oregon Life Sciences to Reflect Expanding Industry and Vision for Growth
Portland, Ore. – Oct. 1, 2025 – Oregon Bio, the state’s trade association and champion for the life sciences industry, today announced it has rebranded as Oregon Life Sciences. The new name reflects the sector’s dynamic growth and the organization’s commitment to supporting the full spectrum of innovation across biotechnology, medical technology, digital health, diagnostics, manufacturing, and more.
“For more than 36 years, Oregon Bio has championed innovation, talent, and investment in our region,” said Liisa Bozinovic, executive director of Oregon Life Sciences. “Our rebrand to Oregon Life Sciences better captures the breadth of our industry, the diversity of our membership, and the global opportunities ahead. This is more than a name change—it’s a signal of our ambition to elevate Oregon’s life sciences ecosystem to the national stage.”

The launch of the new association’s name comes on the heels of its Annual Conference (Sept. 29–30), where members, partners, and industry leaders gathered to celebrate Oregon’s role as a growing life sciences hub.

The new brand identity includes an updated logo, website, and communications strategy that showcase Oregon Life Sciences’ role as a connector, convener, and catalyst for growth.
